Summer is here and it's time to find all of the family-fun in the Reading area! Keeping your family entertained this summer shouldn't drain your wallet or your sanity.  Let us take care of the planning for you so you can enjoy your summer with your family and focus on making memories.  Anytime a kid says "I'm bored", use this list to find another fun adventure in and around Reading! 

From scenic outdoor trails and splash parks to cool (literally!) indoor attractions, there’s something for every age, every mood, and every budget. And the next time you hear “I’m bored,” just pull out this list and discover your next adventure!

  • R/C Reading Movies 11 & IMAX- $1 Summer Movies Tuesday & Wednesday mornings at 10am (6/17-8/6)
  • Rescue Readers- Read to cats at the Humane Society 
  • Berks County Libraries- Stop in one of the 23 library locations in Berks! 
  • R&L FunZone- Indoor play space for infants, toddlers & young kids ($$) 
  • The Lookout- Indoor playground for kids 6 and under- FREE (closed for the month of June) 
  • Mid-Atlantic Air Museum- Museum of aviation & military aviation. Adults $10, ages 6-12 $3, 5 and under FREE ($)
